CLEAR LAKE — James “Jim” Ollin Miller, 69, of Clear Lake, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Oakwood Care Center, with his children by his side.
Jim’s passing marks the loss of a Clear Lake man whose final moments were spent surrounded by the people who mattered most to him. His family’s presence at his side speaks to the love and connection that remained central in his life.
Born January 10, 1957, Jim lived through decades of change in North Iowa and called Clear Lake home. He is remembered by those closest to him as a father, family member and friend whose life was woven into the community around him.

For Jim’s children and family, his memory will live on through the time they shared, the stories they carry and the quiet ways a parent’s presence continues after death.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, at Harvest Bible Chapel North Iowa, 2200 North 24th Street in Clear Lake, with Pastor Terry McCarl officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the church. Visitation will continue one hour before the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, also at Harvest Bible Chapel North Iowa.
