PLYMOUTH — Kenneth F. “Kenny” Prazak, 96, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Kenny was born December 8, 1929, in Mason City, to Frank and Elizabeth Prazak. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1947 and began working on survey and paving crews, an early chapter that would also help lead him to the woman who became his wife.

Kenny met Donna Louise Roudybush through that work, and the couple married April 29, 1950. They shared nearly 59 years together and raised four children: Regina, Diane, Mike and Janet.

In 1960, Kenny and Donna settled on an acreage near Plymouth, where they built a life centered on family, hard work, gardening and hospitality. Their home became a gathering place for relatives, friends and neighbors, and the memories made there became part of the family’s lasting story.

Kenny worked for more than 30 years at Decker’s, later known as Armour, before retiring. Even after retirement, he stayed busy and remained active in the everyday tasks, projects and family moments that filled his life.

He was a faithful member of Plymouth United Methodist Church and was known by family as honest, humble and ready to help without needing attention or praise.

Kenny is survived by his children Regina Haley of Mason City, Diane Keegan of Plymouth, Mike Prazak of Grafton and Janet Tretter of Plymouth, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, in 2009; his parents; his brother; a great-grandson; and other loved ones. His family takes comfort in knowing Kenny and Donna are together again after 16 years apart.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 E. Spring St. in Manly.

Visitation will continue from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Plymouth United Methodist Church, 508 Carter St. in Plymouth.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Plymouth United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Plymouth, where Kenny will be laid to rest beside Donna.

Memorials may be directed to the Kenneth Prazak Memorial Fund.
