SPIRIT LAKE — Franklin Charles “Frank” Edmunds, 75, of Spirit Lake, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake.
Frank was born January 31, 1951, in Spirit Lake to Charles and Ruth Edmunds. He lived for a time in Spencer and South Dakota, but spent most of his life in Spirit Lake, where family, friends and neighbors came to know him over the years.
Frank’s life was marked by the things he enjoyed most: racing, old classic cars, fishing and time with family. His interest in cars and racing reflected a love for engines, motion and the memories built around those passions.
He also enjoyed time outdoors, especially fishing, and he treasured the moments spent with the people closest to him.
His passing is mourned by family and friends who will remember the stories, conversations and everyday moments that made his life meaningful.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home, 1302 Hill Avenue in Spirit Lake.
A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Spirit Lake.
