September 3, 1932 – April 18, 2026

Beulah Mae Curley, 93, of Rockwell, passed away peacefully at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

She was born in Rockford, Iowa on September 3, 1932 to Ben and Eugine (Haag) Mullen and was baptized at Wesleyan Methodist Church of Rockford. She was confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Rockwell and graduated from Rockwell High School.

Beulah was united in marriage to Robert J Curley on May 17, 1952. Over the years she cleaned houses in Rockwell, worked at the Rockwell Nursing Home where she would take her girls along with her. She also worked nine years at McDonalds and 30 years at Country Kitchen until her retirement. She enjoyed working with the younger generation where many will remember her as a mentor.

Family always came first for Beulah. She raised three daughters, all seven years apart. She said it was like starting over after each one! They each had their own personalities and gifts.

She was particular about keeping her home neat and in order. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending as many of their activities as she could! She enjoyed time with her friends in Rockwell, playing in her longtime card club, watching basketball, her game shows, and never missed her daily soap opera!

Beulah is survived by her daughters, Julie Hanawalt and her husband, Ken, of Rockwell, and Michele Lovin and her husband, Andrew, of Washington; grandchildren, Justin Hanawalt, Thomson, IL, and his wife, Amber, along with their son, Elton; and Jordyn Wilson and her husband, Jake, of Oregon, along with their daughter, Jacalyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Jacalyn Hartwigsen; great grandson, Cade Hanawalt; mother, Eugine Mullen; and two sisters, June Kidgell, and JoAnn (Wendell) Miller; as well as other family members.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City. Beulah’s family will greet relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Robert, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rockwell.
