Sandra D. Willis, 58, of Mason City passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
The family will celebrate her life in the near future.
Sandra Dee Willis was born March 9, 1968 in Mason City, the daughter of George R. and Ardis M. (Lockrem) Willis. She attended and graduated from Mason City High School.
Sandra was known for being straightforward and honest, always speaking her mind. She had a big heart and deeply loved her family. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing games, especially when surrounded by those she cared about most.
Sandra had a special love for horses. She enjoyed collecting horse figurines and paintings, watching horse shows at the fairgrounds, and admiring them on farms throughout the area.
She is survived by sisters, Roxanne Dunlap, Lonnie (Steve) Schiff, Rhonda Abbendroth and Jayanna Long; many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her significant other, Wade James; parents George and Ardis; siblings, Thomas Godden, Sharon Godden and Delbert Willis; brother-in-law, Steve Dunlap; and many extended family members.
