Sharon Nemmers, 74 of Britt formerly of Algona, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026, at Westview Care Center in Britt. A visitation to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM until Noon at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Sharon Virginia Nemmers, the daughter of Arthur and Beatrice (Farve) Ward, was born on September 10, 1951, in Biloxi, Mississippi. She attended Biloxi’s schools. On March 26, 1973, Sharon was united in marriage to David Paul Nemmers in Biloxi, Mississippi. She held various jobs as a factory worker throughout her life.
Sharon enjoyed her dogs, cooking family meals, playing BINGO and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
Survived by her children: children: Theresa (John Beik) Nemmers of Britt and James Nemmers of Algona; sister: JoAnn (Jeff) Cardy, Saucier, MS; brother: James(Pam) Ward Mobile; AL; David’s children: William(Paula) Nemmers From Lumberton, MS and Frances(Mark) Clark from Pedal, MS along with 10 grandkids and 4 great grandkids and several Grand dogs
