CEDAR FALLS – A young man with a gun and illegal narcotics made the mistake of taking his goods onto school property in Cedar Falls, and now faces serious charges.
On February 2 at 1:34 PM, Cedar Falls Police were notified of an unoccupied vehicle parked at Cedar Falls High School with a firearm in plain view. Officers were able to make contact with the operator of the vehicle.
After an investigation, 18-year-old Ayden Granger was placed under arrest and charged with the following crimes:
- Carrying firearms on school grounds, a class D Felony

Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor
Granger bonded out of the Black Hawk county jail a few hours later and now awaits court appearances.
