Ruby L. Holden, 80 of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, formerly of Bode, Iowa passed away on November 6th, 2025, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, surrounded by her family.
Ruby is survived by her son John (Celeste) Schenone of Lake Havasu City, Arizona grandchildren, Ashley (Gordy) Hall of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Trent (Elizabeth) Schenone of Clearfield, Utah Trevor (Katie) Schenone of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, brother Victor Durbin of Aurora, Colorado and sister Ruth (Gib) Miller of Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Ruby also leaves behind five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband Eldred Holden, son Allen Schenone, Mother Nellie Durbin, Father Bill Durbin preceded her in death.
Ruby L. Holden, the daughter of Bill and Nellie Durbin was born September 18th, 1945. She was raised and educated in Gilmore City, Iowa.
Ruby was employed by Sande Construction in Humboldt, Iowa until her retirement. Ruby had a signature style of statement jewelry and wardrobe that everyone always admired. Ruby was also a member of the BPO Does Drove # 133 of Parker, Arizona. Ruby enjoyed her time with family and friends and leaves us all with memories we will always cherish.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 11:00 am at Saint Olaf Lutheran Cemetery in Bode.
