College Soccer: No. 13 Iowa Hawkeyes Fall to No. 24 Wisconsin in B1G Tournament Quarterfinals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The No. 13 University of Iowa women’s soccer team fell to No. 24 Wisconsin, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals at Folk Field. The Hawkeyes move to 11-4-4 on the season.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The No. 13 University of Iowa women’s soccer team fell to No. 24 Wisconsin, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals at Folk Field. The Hawkeyes move to 11-4-4 on the season.

Wisconsin struck first in the 11th minute when Adee Boer found the back of the net to give the Badgers an early lead.

The Badgers carried a 1-0 advantage into halftime.

Wisconsin extended its lead in the 51st minute, as Brooke Allen found the back of the net to make it 2-0. The Badgers added a third goal in the 74th minute to push the margin to 3-0.

Iowa was unable to rally, falling by a 3-0 final.

90 Tracker: Sofia Bush and Millie Greer were the two Hawkeye position players to register 90 minutes in the match. 22 Hawkeyes played in the match.
Sofia Bush led Iowa with three shots putting one on goal.
Taylor Kane finished with 9 saves.
