Carol Harrison of Fort Dodge added Powerball Double Play® to her ticket for just $1, and it paid off with a $50,000 win, the Iowa Lottery said today.

She bought her winning ticket at The Station in Fort Dodge.

“We love to see those smiles! Congrats, Carol!, the lottery added.

Double Play is an optional $1 add-on that gives your Powerball numbers a second chance to win in a separate drawing held right after the main one.
