Jordan Lee Wulff, age 24, of Charles City, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Methodist Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
Friends may greet the family from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Floyd County Youth Enrichment Center in Charles City, IA.
Interment will happen at a later date.
Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton have been entrusted with Jordan’s arrangements.
Jordan was born March 7, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa in Mason City, to Brian and Gina Wulff. He grew up with a love for the outdoors—spending countless hours fishing, riding four-wheelers and ATVs, playing with cousins, and making memories that will live on forever. As he grew older, he continued to enjoy time with his friends, often centering his life around them in high school and college, where laughter, a little mischief, and unforgettable moments filled his days.
A 2019 graduate of Charles City High School, Jordan went on to attend North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City. In May 2021, he graduated with a degree in Agriculture Operations and Business Management. His education led him to a career at the Osage Cooperative Elevator, a job he cherished for three years. He was proud of his work and grateful for the many coworkers, customers, and friendships he found there. Jordan also dedicated himself to crop farming, where he found deep joy in the cycle of planting, tending, and harvesting his fields. During the summer months, you’d often find him mowing lawns, a task he found relaxing and rewarding.
Jordan was known as a hardworking, genuine, and stand-up guy—the kind of friend everyone wanted to have. His friends, who loved him dearly, stood by him in his final days, filling them with sweet words and stories. His quick wit, infectious smile, and sense of humor left an imprint on everyone who knew him.
In 2023, Jordan met the love of his life, Kelsey Kurtenbach of Lawler. Kelsey became his rock through his courageous battle with cancer, providing constant care and comfort. Jordan was endlessly grateful for her love and devotion, as well as the support of her family, who welcomed him wholeheartedly into their lives.
Beyond farming, Jordan loved attending county fairs and tractor pulls, scoping out crops with friends or Kelsey’s dad, Craig, spending time on the water in summer, and enjoying his daily stops at Casey’s, where the “Casey’s ladies” always brightened his day.
As the sun sets on Jordan’s time with us, we remember him not for the length of time he was with us or why he left us, but for the depth of his heart, the richness of his smile and his laugh, and his wit portrayed in his sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all; but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched and those who touched him.
Jordan is survived by his partner, Kelsey Kurtenbach of Lawler; parents Brian and Gina (Pullman) Wulff of Charles City; grandparents Leland Wulff of Charles City, Marvin and Lorraine Pullman of Elma; aunts and uncles Brenda (Mike) Ploeger of Ankeny, Tanya (Cletus) Keppler of St. Olaf, Brody (Jessica) Pullman of Protivin; Wulff cousins: Kati and Joni; Pullman cousins: Devon Frank, Preston Keppler, Sophia Keppler, Tristan Pullman.
