Dale E. Barclay, “Papa B”, 59, passed away to be with his Lord Savior at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Sept. 24th, 2025.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at Merrick Park in Forest City, Iowa from 4:00- 6:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saundra Barclay, you can also reach out to his children if needed.
Dale was born October 31st, 1965 to his loving parents Richard and Norma Barclay. He went to Newton Senior High in Newton, Iowa, where he graduated in 1985 and then joined the United States Navy where he served 4 years. He married his loving wife Saundra in November of 1989, to this union came the blessing of their own little family: Brandon, Brian and Ashley.
His hobbies were spending time with family and friends, watching football, baseball, bowling and wrestling. He also like being outdoors, playing cornhole (bean bag toss), horseshoes and he also liked playing games on the Wii, like bowling and golf with his kids and listening to music. He also like play games on the computer in his free time.
Dale worked at Winnebago Industries for 3 to 4 years, previously working at CDI. He loved wood working when he got a chance to do it.
He survived by his loving wife, Saundra Barclay; his 4 children, Megan Weston, Brandon (Kathy) Barclay, Brian Barclay and Ashley Barclay; six grandchildren, Jordan, Damion, Shyla, Sienna, Miley and Angelina. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Norma; his sister, Angela Lowry, and his parent-in-laws, Ted and Virginia Weston.
