Judy J. Eden, 83, of Woden, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Titonka Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Algona with Rev. Paul Avery officiating. Burial will follow the luncheon at Bingham Township Cemetery south of Woden.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Judith Jean Eden, the daughter of Arthur and Jean (Berry) Johnson, was born on December 16, 1941, in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from South High School in Denver in 1960 and continued her education at Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA, for two years. Judy was united in marriage to James Eden at Park Hill Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Denver. The couple made their home on a farm southwest of Woden where they raised their four children. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age and was actively involved in the Baptist Church and the AWANA program for many years.

Judy is survived by her four children, Paul (Kristi) Eden of Valley Center, KS, Keith (Deb) Eden of Woden, Kent (Pam) Eden of Britt and Jill (Terry) Stackhouse of Omaha, NE; 14 grandchildren, Nick (Hong) Eden, Chris (Nan) Eden, Kyle Eden, Tristen (Nina) Eden, Levi (Rachel) Eden, Chance (Katherine) Eden, Carson Eden, Katie Eden, Brent Stackhouse, Julie (Chris) Wilson, Brian (Krystina) Stackhouse, Amy (Tyler) Wilson, Blake (Bailey) Stackhouse, and Zar Stackhouse; great-grandchildren, Stella and Styles Stackhouse, Tyson, Bridger, Jackson and Judson Eden, Arya Eden, Ezekiel and Adah Wilson and Parker Wilson; two sisters, Gail DeGraaf of West Des Moines and Laurel (Larry) DeBert of Fayetteville, GA; brother, Calvert Johnson of Big Canoe, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim, Aug. 14, 2018; sister, Ramona Parker; and brother, Douglas Johnson.
