On July 8, 2025, a Worth county jury found Benjamin “Benny” Green guilty of three counts of 2nd Degree Sex Abuse against him. Green had sexual contact with three children at Hampton Community Christian Daycare, where he worked between 2014 and 2019.
“This investigation proved to be a true team effort,” said Iowa law enforcement after the verdict was rendered. “When two of the original investigating agents retired, they continued to work with DCI and the Attorney General’s Office through trial to ensure justice was served. Defending the innocence and safety of children is a calling we take seriously.”
