June 4, 1955 – June 16, 2025
With heavy hearts we share that Pamella Ann Lemkee peacefully left this world on Monday, June 16, 2025. A soul full of quiet strength and grace. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 9 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Wesley South Park. A Private Family Burial will take place at a later date.
Pamella Ann Lemkee, 70, was born in Algona, Iowa to Donna and Robert Lemkee on June 4, 1955.
Pam married Jerry Blain on June 2, 1984. They resided in Wesley, Iowa. She was a mother to Jebediah Blain and later a cherished grandmother to Addison. Addy brought much joy to Pam’s life.
Pam worked at a variety of jobs through out her life. Most recently she was employed at Bomgaars. She loved working and made many lasting friendships along the way. Pam earned a diploma from Iowa Lakes Community College in the Office Specialist program. A love of flowers led her to earn a Master Gardener’s certificate.
Wesley was home for Pam; she loved the small-town life. There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to Pam’s neighbors who were involved in her daily life and the weeks before her passing.
Pam was a member of Trinity Lutheran church of Algona. Luke 1:37, for with God, nothing shall be impossible.
While on the ride called life, you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you are sad, love what you’ve got and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change. Things go wrong. Just remember the ride goes on.
The family would like to express deep appreciation for all the staff at Good Samaritan in Algona, Serena and all of the hospice team from Hospice of the Heartland and Pastor Dose.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Jeb Blain (Emily Hambly, fiancé); granddaughter, Addy; beloved four-legged companion, Eva; ex-spouse, Jerry Blain; sisters Cathy (Larry) Samp, Christine (Mike) Monson, Laurie (John) Perkins, Nancy (Brian) Friedrich; brother, Brian (Danette) Lemkee; sister-in-law Eileen Blain; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pam was greeted in Heaven by her parents Donna Lemkee and Robert Lemkee; sister, Becky Rentz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to Pam’s favorite charities.
