PLYMOUTH, Ind. – NIACC sophomore Bennett Berger was selected to the NJCAA Division II PING all-region North golf team.
Berger, who is from Lake Mills, was one 15 men’s golfers that were selected to the all-region North team. Other ICCAC golfers that were all-region selections were Kaeden Anderson (Hawkeye CC), Reid Hall (Kirkwood), Freddie Muggerridge (Southwestern CC), Nathan Offerman (Kirkwood), Quinn Tinkler (Kirkwood) and Eric Zuniga (Iowa Central).
Berger (pictured at top via NIACC Athletics) tied for 19th at the NJCAA North Central District Championship May 4-6 at the Whispering Creek Golf Course in Sioux City.
Berger won the Graceland University Spring Invitational on March 28-29. He also won the NIACC Spring Invitational on April 22 with a career low round of 65
He was selected as the ICCAC men’s golfer of the week two times (March 24-30 and April 21-27).
