James Rodamaker, 80, of Iowa Falls, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Scenic Manor. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Woodley Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Following visitation he will be laid to rest with entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum in Waterloo. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Iowa Falls is caring for James and his family.
James Lloyd Rodamaker was born on January 23, 1945 in New Hampton, Iowa to Lloyd William and Anna Theresa (Winter) Rodamaker. He attended school in Ackley, Iowa. On September 18, 1961 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Uhlenhopp.
James lived most of his life in lowa Falls and Ackley. He enjoyed driving truck for forty years.
James Rodamaker is survived by his children, James Robert (Raeann) Rodamaker of Fort Dodge, Thresa (Rickey) Baugh of Iowa Falls and Shirley (Tim) Awe of Iowa Falls; grandchildren: James, Meaghan, Katie, Andy, Julie, Amanda, Kathy, Steven, Jessica, Tanner, Levi, Logan and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David; brothers, Jerry Rodamaker, Joe Rodamaker and three wives.
