MASON CITY – Social programs in America are coming to a screeching halt, and the age of hard work is upon us, so the unemployed in the area might want to shower and dress nice for this upcoming NIACC job expo.

North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) will host its 2025 Job Expo from 10 am-1 pm on Wednesday, April 2 in the NIACC Gymnasium. Students looking to begin their post-academic careers, those exploring career paths, and job seekers looking for their next opportunities in North Iowa are invited to attend. This event is also a great chance for attendees to network with employers, learn about industry trends, and discover new career possibilities.

The expo will have over 60 companies from a wide array of industries attending and looking for prospective employees to fill full-time, part-time, seasonal and/or internship positions. Whether you’re searching for a fresh start, looking to grow in your field, or just exploring what’s out there, this is a great chance to see what’s available.

“We’re committed to empowering our students and job seekers alike, connecting them with diverse industries and pathways for success,” said Melinda McGregor, Director of Emerging Workforce Solutions at NIACC.
