Brent A. Anderson, the youngest child of John V. and Ethelyn (Larson) Anderson, was born in Trimont, Minnesota on March 3, 1963. He passed away at his home in Estherville on March 20, 2025 at the age of 62 years.
Brent was baptized and confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran church in Dunnell. He attended Sherburn schools and later attended Jackson VoTec. He was a mechanic for a short time, before he began his career at Glasstite in 1984. He was still working for BrandFX at the time of his death. While working there he met Shelley Thorsland, the couple fell in love and were married on May 20, 1999. Brent took on the role as stepdad to her two children proudly. Together they all enjoyed camping. Brent loved to ride his motorcycle, go 4-wheeling, go to the go-kart track, watch tik-tok videos and watch the Minnesota Vikings.
Brent enjoyed farming alongside his brothers and cousins for many years; he was the go-to handy man. He was always a good friend to those near him, especially to his beloved pets.
Brent is survived by his stepchildren Shawn Reinking, of Belle Vista, AR and Jean Reinking (David) of Estherville; step-grandchildren Austin, Travis, Connor, Peyton, Alyna, Aracely, and Azalea; his siblings Gary (Sandra) Anderson of Jackson, MN, Anita Lutterman of Jackson, MN, Gayle Anderson of Dunnell, MN, and Pam (Mike) Dunn of Meriden, IA; his step-mother Dorothy Anderson of Jackson and her five children and families; his sister-in-law Shirley Jensen of Estherville; brother-in-law Eugene Jensen of Estherville.
Brent is preceded in death by the love of his life, Shelley, his parents John and Ethelyn Anderson, brothers Brian Anderson and Dana Anderson, and brother-in-law Douglas Lutterman, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold and Evelyn Thorland, as well as other relatives and friends.
