Carl Guldager, 83, of Ackley, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at his home in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Ackley United Methodist Church.

Carl Guldager, 83, of Ackley, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at his home in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Ackley United Methodist Church with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

Carl L. Guldager was born in Eldora, Iowa on June 22, 1941, to Hans and Mary (Raisch) Guldager. He attended Ackley elementary schools and graduated from Ackley High School.

Carl was united in marriage to Janice Cobie on March 17, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Ackley. Together they had two children, Brenda and Mark. Carl was active in Jaycees, was his church trustee, the Sunday School Superintendent, and a Century Farm recipient. He spent his life farming and retired when he was 80.

He is survived by his wife Janice, daughter Brenda (John) Torsky of Polk City, Iowa, grandson Jacob (Monica) Torsky of Altoona, Iowa, and granddaughter Stephanie Torsky (Josh Obernolte) of Waukee, Iowa.

Carl was preceded in death by his son Mark Guldager, his parents, and sisters Ruth Gould and Lenna Oelmann.
