Risa Anne DeLeon, age 33, of Mason City, IA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 22, 2025.
Risa was born in Burlington, IA on March 31, 1991 to Martha Mix. She eventually moved to Mason City with her family where she would complete her education and graduate from the Mason City High School in 2009. Upon graduation she embarked on various professional endeavors before dedicating her life to being a stay at home mom with her two sons.
Family was the center of Risa’s world. She is survived by her two sons, Ayden Barclay (12) and Sage Campisi (6). Her life is also remembered by her mother; Martha Mix, two brothers; Ryan Lewis (Melanie) and Wayne Davis, three sisters; Wrayna Davis (Shamarrie Lee) and Rashell Davis and Sara DeLeon; her grandparents, Jack and Sandra Mix; along with 5 nephews and 4 nieces and her best friend Desiree Bohl (Cody Bohl).
Throughout her life Risa found joy from spending time with her sons, family and friends. Nurturing a home filled with love and laughter. She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows and arts and crafts.
Risa is preceded is death by her father Roberto DeLeon and an older brother, Dominique Lewis and younger brother Randy Lewis.
A Celebration of Life to honor Risa will be at a later date, with details to be announced.
