Jane Ann Russ of Clear Lake, IA 81, passed away on February 13, 2025, at Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake.
Private family services will be held on February 14, 2025.
Jane Ann Russ (Kitner) was born on August 17, 1943, in Crystal Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Johnnie William and Ethel Elizabeth (Fenniger) Kitner. Jane was the youngest surviving child of Johnnie and Ethel’s children.
Jane enjoyed her time learning at Waldorf College in Forest City where she majored in Religion and Travel. She was blessed with four children. She took great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her daughters Gretchen (Charles) Arnold, Dawn Perschbacher, her sons Todd Russ and Michael Russ. Her five grandchildren Melissa Arnold, Charles Arnold, Courtney Rheingans, Steven Perschbacher, Steven Blau, 7 great-grandchildren Codijo Arnold, Charles W Arnold Jr, Taylor Van Fleet, Emily Arnold and Josie Arnold, James Rheingans Jr and Alexis Rheingans, along with other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Johnnie and Ethel; brothers Paul Kitner and Marvin Kitner, as well as Pauline Kitner (1935), Donald Kitner (1946) and Irene (1947) who died in childbirth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
