IOWA CITY – Iowa (14-7, 4-6) outlasted lowly Northwestern (7-12, 0-8), 85-80, Tuesday night in front of nearly 15,000 fans at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Lucy Olsen finished with 16 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Olsen has registered 13 career games of 10+ points, 5+ assists, and 5+ rebounds. It was her third for the Hawkeyes.
Sydney Affolter recorded her third career game with 10+ points, 5+ assists, and 5+ rebounds and first of the season. Affolter finished with 13 points, five assists, and six rebounds.
Aaliyah Guyton netted double figures for the third time this year. (15 points) It was Guyton’s third career game with three or more treys. Guyton recorded a career-high in minutes played.
Affolter and Guyton tied their season-bests with three 3-pointers a piece.
The Hawkeyes outscored the Wildcats, 38-26 in the paint.
