OBIT: Bobby Dean Heuton

Bobby “Bob” Dean Heuton, 84, formerly of Fontanelle, IA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Pillar of Cedar Valley in Waterloo. Arrangements are with Fullerton Funeral Home.

Bobby “Bob” Dean Heuton, 84, formerly of Fontanelle, IA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Pillar of Cedar Valley in Waterloo. Arrangements are with Fullerton Funeral Home.

There will be a private family graveside service and Bobby will be laid to rest next to his wife at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Bobby was born on March 9, 1940 in Grandview, IA. On June 12, 1976, Bobby was united in marriage to the love of his life, Karen (Kellogg) Heuton at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Mason City. The couple moved to Des Moines, IA where they had their daughter then later lived in Greenfield, IA and lastly together they lived in Fontanelle, IA.

Bobby worked for Dawn Food Company for many years and was a truck driver and also worked in their warehouse. When he wasn’t busy working, he helped care for his wife Karen, before she needed to move into a care facility. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching television. Bobby was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and liked watching football.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Michelle and her husband Justin Blankenship and their two children Kelsey and Beau, all of Jesup, IA and his sons: Monte, Mike, Eddie and Jeff of Missouri.

He was reunited in heaven with his wife Karen Heuton who passed in 2016, his daughter Lisa Diane who passed in infancy and his parents.
