STORM LAKE – In MAGA-dominated 2024 America, where immigrants will soon be herded into a massive Texas concentration camp, one rich Northern Iowa man actually wants to help them.
According to the Iowa lottery, for Alexander Perez (pictured at top via the lottery), winning a lottery prize of nearly $300,000 was an opportunity to not only improve his life, but the lives of many more people in Storm Lake.
“I noticed the Latino community needs help. The Latino community, they work too hard,” Alexander told them.
Alexander won his $295,300 prize in May on an Extreme Green Progressive InstaPlay ticket. He told the lottery he would use the money to open a new HVAC business. Alexander made good on his promise this fall, the lottery claims.
“That’s the point of my business, try to help my community,” he said.
Alexander said he’s especially eager to serve Storm Lake’s immigrant population. He said he knows firsthand the struggles many of them face, and this is his chance to give back.
“In the end, the money is not the main thing. You are not happy with money. You are happy when you do something for somebody else.”
They could probably use the help, since newly-elected President Donald Trump has been offered a huge chunk of Texas land to build a concentration camp just for immigrants that don’t fit the MAGA ideal, and his new cabinet appointments are frothing at the mouth to get started.
