MASON CITY – The following are the expenses paid by Cerro Gordo county and Board of Supervisor meeting minutes for the period ending on November 18, 2024:

November 18, 2024
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
9:30 a.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp,
Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey
Callanan, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the title of
Wilkinson Park and sale of land and to discuss Nuisance
Ordinance Revision.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at
9:51 a.m.
Various tabulations, reports, correspondence and other
documents that were presented at today’s meeting are
placed on file with the supplemental minutes.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
November 14, 2024
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
2:45 p.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp,
Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey
Callanan (via phone), and various members of the public.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to approve today’s
agenda. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to authorize the
Auditor to conduct a recount of the Board of Supervisor
District 3 race. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to adjourn at
2:46 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
November 13, 2024
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
2:00 p.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp,
Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, and various members of
the public. Absent: Supervisor Casey Callanan
Watts moved with Meacham Ginapp seconding, to
approve today’s agenda. Motion passed.
Public comment session was held.
Watts moved with Meacham Ginapp seconding, to adopt
Resolution 2024-81, Whereas the General Election was
held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024; and, Whereas the
official canvass of the results of the November 5, 2024
General by the Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors
was scheduled for 2:00pm on November 13, 2024; and,
Whereas the Board has publicly and duly met and opened
and canvassed the tally lists from the November 5, 2024
General Election; and, Whereas the Board has corrected
any and all obvious clerical errors as recorded in the
minutes of the canvass, And whereas, Pursuant to Iowa
Code Section 50.22, the commissioner of elections
reported that there were thirteen provisional ballot
rejected and not counted. Now, therefore, the Board of
Supervisors hereby certifies and declares the final results
of the election in the official abstract of the election. Motion
passed.
Watts moved with Meacham Ginapp seconding, to
adjourn at 2:07 p.m. Motion passed.
