Iowa Men’s Wrestling: Hawkeyes Sell Out Season Tickets for 4th Straight Year

IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced Thursday that the season ticket allotment for the 2024-25 Hawkeye men’s wrestling season is sold out for a fourth consecutive season.

IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced Thursday that the season ticket allotment for the 2024-25 Hawkeye men’s wrestling season is sold out for a fourth consecutive season.

Capacity for wrestling duals at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in 2024-25 is 14,847. The Hawkeyes have led the nation in attendance in every season since 2006-07, head coach Tom Brands’ first as head coach. Iowa set an NCAA record, averaging 14,905 fans in 2021-22.

Iowa is coming off a 2023-24 season where it posted a 12-2 overall and 6-2 Big Ten mark. The Hawkeyes placed fourth at the Big Ten Championships and fifth at the NCAA Championships with four All-Americans. The program had 20 Academic All-Big Ten selections – the highest total in school history. Iowa is ranked #2 in the latest polls.

The Hawkeyes open the season in Corvallis, Oregon, on Friday against Oregon State at 9 p.m. (CT). The dual will be broadcast on the Hawkeye Radio Network and streamed live on FloWrestling (subscription required).
