Timothy Seifert, 71, of Jewell and formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at his home. A public visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Tim will be laid to rest next to his wife Shawn at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Woodley Funeral Home is caring for Tim and his family.

Tim was born on November 4, 1952, to John and Ann Seifert. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, deeply devoted to his family. Tim’s passion for life, his warm sense of humor and his dedication to helping others made him a beloved figure in his community. Tim spent many years as a business education teacher, where he inspired and mentored countless students. His dedication to education and his ability to connect with students helped shape their futures, both professionally and personally. Tim’s practical wisdom, combined with his passion for teaching, left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of learning from him.

Outside the classroom, Tim had a great love for going to auctions, where he delighted in finding hidden treasures. His excitement for uncovering something special and his joy in sharing these finds with his family were among his many unique qualities. But above all, Tim adored his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His laughter, stories and unwavering love created memories that will be treasured forever.

Tim is survived by his children: Jacob (Sara) Seifert, Mark (Kelly) Seifert, Sam (Bethanni) Seifert, Peter (Jessica) Seifert, Ben Seifert (Brooke Taylor), Katherine Seifert (Adam Smuck) and Sarah Seifert (Dex Popillion). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Adilynn Seifert, Zayden Seifert, Anderson Seifert, Nevaeh Bevard, Quintin Popillion, Athena Popillion, Sullivan Seifert, Amelia Seifert and Lincoln Seifert.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers and support during this difficult time.
