Kevin Halter, 67, of Hampton, passed away at his home, Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Memorial services will be held at a later time. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory, Hampton, is caring for Kevin and his family.
Kevin Todd Halter was born April 25, 1957, a son of Roy and LaVonne (Morris) Halter at Dumont, Iowa. He graduated from Janesville High School and worked for Clay Equipment in Janesville. Later he began working at Wayne Equipment in Cedar Falls where he retired from after over 36 years.
On May 19, 1979, Kevin was united in marriage with Tamra Williamson. This marriage was blessed with 2 sons: Roy and Jesse. Kevin enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping with his family. After retirement he raised miniature horses.
Family includes his wife of 45 years, Tamra Halter; sons: Roy (Emily) Halter, Emmons, MN; Jesse Halter, Hampton; step grandson: Holger and one grandchild Morgana on the way; mother-in-law: Joyce Williamson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Jim Williamson.
