MASON CITY – The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum in Mason City has announced the return of its popular fall fundraiser Artoberfest. The date of the event is Friday, October 11, 2024. Doors open at 6 PM. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased on the Museum’s website (www.macniderart.org) and at Moorman Clothiers, HyVee East, HyVee West, and the MacNider Art Museum. This is a 21 and older event.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to support the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum in a fun way. The fundraiser will feature a variety of tasty brews from all over the Midwest as well as a delicious assortment of food. Guests will receive two drink tickets with more available for purchase at the event. More than 80 silent auction items have been donated from local businesses and artists and we’ll also have a live auction later in the evening. The auctioneer will be Brian Carlson.
The musical entertainment for the evening will be juni + betty! juni+betty is a folk acoustic duo project created by Juni West and Elisabeth Kirby (of Betty and the Gents). Performances include original music by both songwriters with Juni on acoustic guitar and Betty on keys and ukulele. Their harmonies blend together through a one-of-a-kind pairing of tone, pitch, and synchronization.

The Museum will be closed Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 for Artoberfest preparation & cleanup.
The Museum is located at 303 2nd Street SE in Mason City and is open from 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday, Friday & Saturday; 9 am. to 8 pm on Tuesday and Thursday; and closed Sundays and Mondays.
