Owen Renaud, 19, of Alden, Iowa, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2024, while doing what he loved. He passed away in a plane accident near Anderson, Indiana. The family invites you to a day of celebrating Owen’s life on Friday, September 13, 2024. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. at the Cornerstone Church in Ames with a luncheon to follow. The family will receive friends following the lunch at the church. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Alden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Flying High Scholarship Fund in memory of Owen Renaud and Jesse Ostheimer. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
