Julie Ann Adams, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.

Born on December 8, 1952, in the Forest City, IA area, Julie was the daughter of Gilbert and Hazel (Stalheim) Peterson. She graduated from Garner High School in 1970. Julie had a passion for baking and spent years crafting six pies a day for the local cafe in Kensett, IA, where her delicious creations were enjoyed by many. In her quiet moments, she loved to immerse herself in a good book or relax while watching YouTube.
Julie met the love of her life, Richard, on a blind date, and they were married in January 1980 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA, building a life full of love and cherished memories together. Known for her giving, caring, and loving nature, Julie touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Julie’s memory are her husband Richard Adams; uncle Jim Peterson; extended family and many beloved friends.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Hazel Peterson, grandparents and many extended family members.
