Jaime Thompson-Keninger, 47, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her home in Iowa Falls. A private family burial will take place at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Iowa Falls. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Highland Golf Club in Iowa Falls. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
Jaime was born to Randy and Jean (Hansen) Thompson on November 8, 1976, in Hampton, Iowa. Jaime grew up in Iowa Falls where she graduated from Iowa Falls High School. After high school, she graduated from Ellsworth Community College and Buena Vista University. Jaime was a long-time employee of Iowa Select Farms where she worked as the office manager.
Jaime was united in marriage to her husband Doug Keninger on August 26, 2000. Together the two share one son, Eli. Jaime was involved in the North Central Strykers Soccer Club, the hospital auxiliary and was a member of the community chest.
Jaime is survived by her husband Doug, their son Eli, her mother Jean Thompson of Iowa Falls and her brother Jayson Thompson, of Waterloo.
Jaime was proceeded in death by her father, Randy Thompson.
