It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jannali Rose Bear Don’t Walk,15, who left us on Monday, August 5, 2024, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A celebration of Jannali’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Legendary Surf Ballroom & Museum, 460 North Shore Drive, Clear Lake, Iowa 50428, with Pastor Adam Henaman officiating. The family will greet friends following the service until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in care of the family.
Jannali Rose was born November 5, 2008, the daughter of Nathan and Alexadra Bear Don’t Walk, in Mason City, Iowa. Jannali excelled in her studies and participated actively in community events. She loved sports, music, band, choir, wrestling, and soccer. She was proud of her involvement in the FFA. Her faith was very important to her, she was actively involved in church and youth group activities; Jannali knew Jesus Christ as her Savior and cherished spending time with her friends. She was an avid reader and always had a new book to read and pass along!
She worked at Charlie’s Soda Fountain and was looking forward to becoming a dental hygienist. Jannali was a beloved member of the Clear Lake community, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. She touched the lives of many with her generous nature and her commitment to making the world a better place.
Jannali is survived by her loving family her parents, Nathan (Allie) Bear Don’t Walk, her siblings Jonah and Jaylynn; grandparents Doug (Heidi) Holmes, Lori Rarick, and Jeffery Woodby; great-grandparents Harlan (Rosemary) Pals and Doug (Mary) Holmes; aunts and uncles, Michael (Hailey) Holmes, Elizebeth (Billy) Davidson, Robert (Frankie) Rath, and Natalie Bear Don’t Walk; great-aunts, Emerald (Tom) Pals, Valerie Goulding, Stephanie Jones, as well as cousins, and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Krista Lynne Pals-Holmes; great-grandparents Patricia and David Buelow; and aunt, Amber Woodby.
