Timothy J. Brickner, son of John and Amy (Gluesing) Brickner, was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ, on November 3, 1992. He passed away on May 31, 2024, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville at the age of 31 years.

Timothy J. Brickner, son of John and Amy (Gluesing) Brickner, was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ, on November 3, 1992. He passed away on May 31, 2024, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville at the age of 31 years.

Growing up, Tim’s family moved around a bit before settling in the Armstrong area. After his schooling, Tim worked various jobs. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies, and playing video games, including Streets of Rage and Sonic. He also liked to write and wanted to be a novelist.

Tim will be remembered as a kind soul who cared about people, he was very charitable, helping anyone in need.

Tim was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong.

Tim is survived by his parents John Brickner of Spencer, Amy Brickner of Armstrong; his siblings, Amanda Brickner of Armstrong, Jeff (Thelma Garcia) Brickner of Spencer, Joseph Brickner of Armstrong and William Brickner of Armstrong; and his nephew Theodore Brickner. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Margaret Gluesing of Hamilton, CO and paternal grandfather, Robert Brickner, of Tiffin, OH, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tim is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Twan Gluesing, paternal grandmother, Mary Jean Brickner, uncles, Curt Gluesing and Cory Gluesing and aunt, Gail Waltermeyer.
