Eric Bryan Lancaster, 54, of Mason City, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Ave. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family of Eric Lancaster.
Eric Lancaster was born in Manhattan, Kansas on January 18, 1970, to parents Charles and Debby (Schellsmidt) Lancaster. Eric grew up in Mason City, graduating from Mason City High School in 1989. After graduating he joined the work force working various jobs, most recently with Kraft Foods. Eric was a devout Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburg Steelers. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking, but what brought Eric great joy was decorating for Christmas and especially Halloween.
Eric is survived by his mother, Debby Lancaster; aunt, Elenor Wubben, aunt and uncle, Larry, Mona Wubben; great aunt, Lorna Thompson and several cousins.
