Cops nab Northern Iowa man wanted on warrants connected to stalking and other crimes

OELWEIN – A Northern Iowa man with a violent history was nabbed by cops on a number of warrants, including stalking and no-contact order violations.

On March 27, 2024, at approximately 1:08 PM, a Fayette county deputy arrested 37-year-old Nathan G. Kirby of Oelwein on multiple arrest warrants. Warrant number one was for Stalking (Violation of a No Contact Order). Warrant number two was for public intoxication, interference with official acts and violation of no contact order. Bond was set at $12,000.00 cash or surety. Warrant number three was a Parole Violation warrant, original charges were Domestic abuse and Burglary in the 3rd degree. Bond was set in the amount of $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Kirby was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held awaiting his initial appearance.
