We are sad to announce the death of Scott Wilmarth on March 15th.
Scott was born on December 7, 1966, in Mason City. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Sandra Wilmarth; father, Frederick Wilmarth; and brother Timothy Wilmarth.
Scott is survived by his devoted daughters Casondra Wilmarth, Savannah Wilde (Kalvin), and Kaylee Wilmarth; grandchildren, Mael Wilmarth, Joseph Evenson Jr., Nova Wilde, Nora Wilmarth Dalgliesh, and Asher Wilde; all of whom Scott loved and cherished, brothers Bill Wilmarth from Mason City, Jon Wilmarth from Mason City, and sisters Julie Pritchard (Randy) from Maxwell, Iowa, and Susie Ferree (Edward) from Crystal Lake, Illinois; former wife, Julie Marsh Wilmarth; along with many, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Spending time with his girls and grandchildren laughing and listening to music was Scott’s greatest joy. He also found peace and awe in the pace of nature by spending time outside riding his bike or in parks or nature preserves. On his down time, he always made sure his knives where in pristine condition. He gave the best hugs and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
