Ronald Dean Myhre, the son of Stanley and Betty (Moeller) Myhre, was born on August 19, 1961, in Estherville, Iowa. He died on February 19, 2024, at the Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville at the age of 62 years.
Ronald graduated from Estherville High School in 1980 before earning two associate degrees in computer science from Iowa Lakes Community College.
After college, Ronald owned and operated a western store in town before becoming a realtor.
He married Paula Peton on May 27, 2006, in Estherville, Iowa.
In his free time, Ronald was a HAM radio operator, his handle was KAOGCN, a member of the Estherville saddle club where he drove horses, flew RC planes, golfed, watched NASCAR and XFINITY truck races, and was learning to repair watches.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Paula Myhre, sister, Connie Brooks, and his mother-in-law, Lavon Peton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Betty (Moeller) Myhre, his cousin Steve, aunts and uncles and his father-in-law, Paul Peton Jr.
