UNI volleyball announces 2024 spring schedule

CEDAR FALLS – The defending Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) regular season and tournament champion UNI volleyball team announced its ten-match spring schedule for 2024 on Wednesday afternoon.

Northern Iowa, which compiled a 26-7 record with a perfect 18-0 mark against conference opponents last season, will participate in three in-state tournaments, along with one stand-alone exhibition beginning in late March. Start times for the three tournaments will be announced at a later date.

UNI will open its 2024 spring season on Saturday, March 30 at Hilton Coliseum against Iowa State, Iowa and Drake in Ames, before hosting its own tournament in the Wellness-Recreation Center on April 13, welcoming North Dakota State, Iowa and St. Thomas to town. The Panthers’ final tournament will include Iowa, Western Illinois and Creighton at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on April 20 in Iowa City.

The Panthers will close out their spring season on April 26 against the Wisconsin Badgers at McCormick Gym on the University of Dubuque campus at 6:30 p.m. CT. Ticketing information for this match will be announced at a later date.
