Kathy Ann Sinnwell passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, with Lay Minister Al Berge officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, Iowa.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. North., Clear Lake, Iowa.
Kathy Ann Sinnwell, daughter of Roger Best and JoAnn (Lenning) Best, was born August 25th, 1956, at Mercy Hospital, Mason City, IA. Kathy graduated from Clear Lake High School continuing her education at Hamilton Business College. Kathy was employed several places including IMI Cornelius as a receptionist.
Kathy was united in marriage to David Sinnwell on August 25th, 1991, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Kathy enjoyed going to casinos to see how lucky she could be! She loved spending time with her cousin’s kids, Kiefer, Kaleb and Karissa Cornick. They enjoyed going to Chinese Buffets and numerous trips to Adventureland; where they had their pictures taken in costumes from the olden days.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Dave; aunt Mary Best of Rockwell; uncle Don Lenning (Donna), Ardmore, OK and their children, Rick, Jody, Tim, Barb, Lisa, Jim and Dan; her deceased uncle Ed (Patsy) Lenning’s children; David, Deb, Chuck, Pat and Edwin; uncle Bill Lewis, San Antonio, TX and his children Jayne, Jay and John; cousin Diane Cornick and her children, Kiefer (Ashley), Kaleb and Karissa; Cousin Lori (Kent) Beatty, and their daughter Whitney; mother-in-law Pat Sinnwell; father-in-law Roger (Jean) Sinnwell; along with brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roger and JoAnn Best, uncle Ed (Patsy) Lenning; aunt Sherri Lewis; uncle Don Best; cousins Dale Best and Penny Goates.
