Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethany E & R Church in Ledyard. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 10-11 A.M. Burial will be at the Highland Home Cemetery in Ledyard.

Lillian Hanna Johnson was born April 16, 1922, in Seneca, Iowa, the daughter of John and Anna (Krogh) Kramer. She attended school in Whittemore and graduated from the Whittemore High School in 1940.

She met the love of her life at the roller skating rink in Fenton. Lillian was united in marriage to Everet Johnson on December 4, 1942. This union was blessed with seven children, Marlin, Marilyn, Shirley, Arnold, Joyce, Dennis and Edward. They spent 52 years together before Everet’s passing October 23, 1995.

Lillian loved to dance, cook, bake, crochet, make crafts, watch the Minnesota Twins, Iowa Hawkeye basketball and spend time with her family and friends.

Lillian died Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa. She was 101.

She is survived by her children, Marlin (Janice) Johnson of Fairmont, MN; Marilyn Fuchs (Dean Nelson) of Blue Earth, MN; Shirley (Robert) Polzin of Fairmont, MN; Arnold (Patricia) Johnson of Titonka; Dennis Johnson of Ledyard; Edward Johnson of Ledyard; 18 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ramona Johnson and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everet; daughter, Joyce; four brothers, Leo, Harland, Harold and Lloyd; two sisters, Beatrice and Bernice and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
