Evelyn Brannick, 88, of Iowa Falls, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Eldora Specialty Care. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Woodley Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Iowa Falls is caring for Evelyn and her family.
Evelyn Ellen Marie Brannick was born on September 20, 1935 to Ernest and Arlene (Benshoff) Knott. In her working years she was a home health aide and cook.
Evelyn was united in marriage to William Eugene Brannick. To this union 8 children were born.
Evelyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to many. She enjoyed time with her family, especially the babies. She loved cooking and baking and always made treats for her family to snack on.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Vickie Bonin, Eugene Brannick, Eugenia Schlachter, William Brannick Jr., Kevin Brannick and Donnie Brannick; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Arlene Knott; husband, William Brannick; son, Shawn Brannick; daughter, Joyce Peterson; granddaughter, Brandy Brannick; son’s in-law, Larry Schlachter and Randy Bonin; daughter in-law, Shelly Brannick and all of her siblings.
