PISCATAWAY, NEW JERSEY – No. 4 Iowa (15-1, 4-0) defeated Rutgers (6-11, 0-4), 103-69, inside a sold-out Jersey Mike’s Arena on Friday night.

The Hawkeyes are off to their fifth 15-1 start in program history.

Iowa is off to its best start in the Lisa Bluder era. Iowa last started 15-1 in the 1995-96 season.

Caitlin Clark

National Player of the Year candidate, Caitlin Clark, registered her 14th career triple-double and third of the season. (29p, 10a, 10r) It was her 50th career double-double, she is No. 10 on the Big Ten’s all-time list. She leads all Big Ten active players in career double-doubles. UI has won five straight against Rutgers.
