Lynnanne Louise Bull, 62, of Plymouth, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1148 4th St SE, Mason City, with Pastor Sid Bohls officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapels, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Lynnanne was born on June 18, 1961, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Jean (Rohde) Groth. She was a graduate of Mason City High School Class of 1979. Lynnanne began dating the love of her life in the ninth grade, Russell Bull, they married on September 26, 1981, at St. James Lutheran Church. This union brought forth the joy of their lives, son Ryan.
Lynnanne, a dedicated hairdresser, found joy in making others feel beautiful. She attained her education from Capri Cosmetology College. Lynnane started her hairdressing career in 1981 at JcPenney Salon. She opened her own salon, Cuts Above, and has run it successfully for over 17 years.
She also had a talent for decorating, and gardening. Lynnanne had a remarkable ability to provide comfort and make everyone feel like they were best friends. She was a best friend to many, a wife, a mom, a daughter and sister. Lynnanne was always LATE!!! She proudly displayed a sign that said “on time is when she gets there”. Lynnanne was also an avid collector of many things, especially precious moments.
Those left to cherish memories of Lynnanne are her husband of 42 years; Russell Bull; son, Ryan Bull (Katlyn Tonn); mother, Jean Groth; sister, Anne (Ray) Zook; parents in-law, Patricia and Willis Bull; brother in-law, David (Ann) Bull, and Jim Bull; nephews, Nathan Bull, and Mitchell Bull; niece, Samantha Brown; as well as extended family and friends.
Lynnanne is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Groth; sister in-law, Becky Bull; and nephew, Branson Bull.
