IOWA CITY – A tight game between Iowa and Michigan State was settled with one-tenth of a second left when Caitlin Clark drilled a deep 3-pointer, leading the Hawkeyes past the Spartans 76-73 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena Tuesday night.
No. 4 Iowa (14-1, 3-0) defeated RV Michigan State (11-3, 1-2) and the Hawkeyes are off to their sixth 14-1 start in program history.
Head Coach Lisa Bluder notched her 250th career Big Ten regular season victory.
Bluder has led Iowa to a pair of 14-1 starts.
Iowa last started 14-1 in the 2017-18 season.

Iowa is now 7-3 when Clark scores 40+ points.
Molly Davis nearly registered a double-double with seven points and eight rebounds.
