MASON CITY – A number of Winter Break programs are available coming up at the Lime Creek Nature Center in Mason City.
On Thursday, December 28, from 1pm-3 pm at the Lime Creek Conservation Area, outdoor activities are offered. It’s time to get the kids out of the house for some fresh air. All ages are invited to join us for a variety of fun winter activities. Come dressed to play outside. There will be a warm fire burning and hot chocolate waiting. There is no charge, but registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
On Tuesday, January 16, from 5pm-6 pm at the Lime Creek Nature Center, an educational activity is offered. This program is for children ages 4-6 with their adults. Come and learn all about owls and what they are doing in the winter at this fun, hands on program. We will discover these amazing birds through story, song, and sound!
