Tiffani J. Ward, 45, of Garner, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church east of Garner.

Tiffani J. Ward, 45, of Garner, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church east of Garner with Rev. Mark Lund officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner and will continue one hour before services at the church.

Tiffani Jean Ward was born on April 27, 1978, in Mason City to Christopher and Barbara (Brager) Ward. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Tiffani graduated from Ventura High School in 1996 where she had the honor of being selected for All State Choir. Following high school, she began working at Clear Lake Bakery and Movie Time Video. Subsequently, she worked at Larson Manufacturing in Clear Lake and at Target in Mason City before pursuing her CNA certificate at NIACC in Mason City. Tiffani served as a media/transcriptionist at Regency Clinic in Mason City for several years before working at the U.S. Post Office in Garner. Most recently, she was employed by IMT in Garner. Tiffani lived most of her life in Ventura and Clear Lake until her move to Garner in 2020. Tiffani found joy in reading, knitting, painting, and craft work. She loved meeting and connecting with members of her community at her various jobs and is remembered for her sharp wit, quick laugh, and sweet smile by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Tiffani was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she actively participated in the church choir and helped start a Bible study group.

Tiffani is survived by her loving daughters, Jordan (Joseph) Schiller of Mason City and Faith Primrose of Garner; her brother, Dustin (Allison) Ward of Garner, and their two sons, Christian and Charlie. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Barbara Ward, as well as her paternal grandparents, Pat and Charity “Marie” Ward, and maternal grandparents, Marvin and Adelaide Brager.
