Terri A. Ballhagen 67, of Sheffield died November 26, 2023 at home.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 1, 2023 at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Iowa. Officiating will be Rev.Wendy Johannen. A gathering for friends and family will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Thursday at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd ST SE, Mason City, Iowa.
Terri was born one of four children to Duane and Shirley (Arndt) Ballhagen on August 11, 1956 in Mason City. She graduated High School and then worked as a cook for the Sheffield Care Center, and later for Wood Harbor. She enjoyed collecting cow and later frog statues and items to place in her garden. She enjoyed reading especially Steven King novels. As she grew up she attended the Congregational Church and then the Lutheran Church in Rockwell.
Surviving Terri are her two sons Brad and Matthew Behrends, her parents Duane and Shirley Ballhagen, and sister Connie Strong.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, and two siblings Duane “Will” Ballhagen and Peggi Meyer.
