MASON CITY – Starting Monday, November 27 and lasting until Thursday, November 30, Crescent Drive between 3rd and 4th Streets SW will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:00 pm. The closure is due to the removal of a dead ash tree.
On Tuesday, November 28, starting at approximately 9:00 am, the City will be conducting a structure move from 403 S. Polk Place to 316 5th Street NW. The duration of the structure move is anticipated to last approximately one hour.
The map below shows the structure move route.
No parking signage will be placed on the streets along the route of the move. Vehicles parked on the streets of the route will need to be moved off of the streets prior to the move – violators will be towed.
For the safety of all involved, please avoid the route for the duration of the move.
